BaoFeng 5R Mini Radio
Radio station BaoFeng 5R Mini. You want the features of a programmable VHF/UHF radio, but in a more compact format? You don't want to connect the device with a cable to a computer every time, when you need to edit channels? Baofeng UV-5R Mini adds just that convenience by enabling wireless programming via a compatible app.
Compact, nose 999 channel
The UV-5R Mini operates in the VHF and UHF range and features 999 programmable channels. Large capacity is useful for users, which support different groups of settings and want them to be pre-organized in the device memory.
The colored one 1,44-inch display allows more information to be presented simultaneously and makes menu work easier.
Bluetooth programming - why it's useful?
One of the most significant differences compared to the classic UV-5R is the possibility of Bluetooth/App programming. Instead of every change requiring a computer and a cable, compatible settings can be controlled via smartphone.
This is especially handy in the field—for example, when a channel or configuration needs to be edited, and a laptop is not available.
Along with wireless programming, the model retains the ability to configure through software and directly from the keyboard.
5 W и USB-C
The maximum power is 5 W, and the presence of a lower mode allows to reduce consumption, when maximum power is not needed.
It's the battery 1600 mAh, and USB Type-C charging is a significant practical advantage. Instead of depending solely on a dedicated desktop charging station, you can use a compatible USB source.
Additional options
Dual Standby allows monitoring of two preset frequencies, and Dual PTT makes it easy to choose when transmitting. More DTMFs are available, scanning, FM radio, LED flashlight and other programmable functions.
Thus, the UV-5R Mini is an interesting alternative for the user, who wants compactness + large memory + modern programming and charging, rather than simply higher transmission power.
