FIREARMS SAFE HANDLING COURSE

Firearms Safe Handling Course.

Rosbull Arm conducts monthly courses on safe handling of firearms.

!!! Dates for the current month: 26 and 27 August 2024.

I. Conditions for admission of candidates to the course:

1) Criminal record certificate.

2) A note from a psycho-dispensary.

3) ID card.

4) 2 no. passport photos.

A copy is made of the identity card, and the originals of the other documents are returned to the learner after the end of the course.

II. Learning objective:

1) To acquire knowledge and skills in the safe handling of firearms, according to the safety rules.

2) To master the ways and rules of shooting with a firearm.

3) To gain knowledge about the legal grounds for using a firearm.

4) To acquire knowledge of giving first aid to persons with gunshot injuries.

III. Distribution of study time:

1) Lectures.

2) Practice shooting.

IV. Exam preparation and conduct.

1) Mandatory ammunition according to regulations during the course:

+ 96 count .22 lr – pistol;

+ 36 number 9x18 - pistol;

+ 54 number 9x19 - pistol;

+ 24 count .38 Sp – revolver;

+ 8 count 12 stay. – pump gun.

2) Theoretical training:

a) Classification of small arms;

b) Safety rules for working with firearms and ammunition. Rules for maintaining and storing the weapon;

V) Ammunition for small arms;

Mr ) General information from the insider, external and terminal ballistics;

d) Basic elements of shooting technique;

is) Material part of small arms. More common firearms;

with) Medical assistance to people with gunshot wounds.

3) Practical training:

Includes individual work with an instructor at the shooting range. Shooting the main classes of firearms from different positions and performing different shooting exercises, whose purpose is to teach the student, properly and safely handle a firearm. After passing the theoretical and practical part, an exam is taken before the KOS office. The day of the exam is pre-scheduled and announced.

4) Exam preparation and conduct

a) Theory - test with 30 the question;

b) Practice - shooting:

+ A weapon – 9 mm Makarov pistol;

+ Purpose – bust or waist figure placed at eye level, motionless;

+ Distance to target – 25 meters;

+ Amount of ammunition – 6 count;

+ Shooting Time – 6 minutes.

The document for those who have successfully completed the safe handling of weapons course is indefinite.

After successful completion of the course, the person has the right to purchase and acquire a gun permit (short bladed weapon)
