Nail knife (“Slicing knife”) is a joint development of Brusletto, Norway's Housekeeping Association (The Norwegian Federation of Folk Art and Crafts) и Forest companies (Norwegian forestry). A small and beautiful knife with approx 60 mm blades and 101 mm handle. The blade is shaped for carving and is made of carbon steel, tempered to approx 59 on the Rockwell scale. This is the only Brusletto knife with a carbon steel blade. It is used, to provide a combination of superior edge retention and ease of sharpening. The knife is designed as a first carving knife for children, who would set them on fire in chipping and carpentry. The handle is stamped with an image of the project mascot “The Spike Troll”, which comes as an easy first thread.
IMPORTANT: The knife is sold without a handle.
