Quick-release mounting system for rifles, designed for mounting Pulsar optical sights on hunting weapons, equipped with Weaver/Picatinny rails. The system has a reliable locking system with levers, equipped with protection against accidental opening.
The Weaver SQD locking mechanisms are secured with set screws, so that the mounting plate withstands intensive use - repeated cycles of removal and installation, vibrations and shock loads during firing, the accumulated effect of a large number of shots - including full repeatability of mounting the optical sight with the mounting plate on the rail, saving the hit point (setting) and shooting accuracy.
