Whistle for predators Nordik Crying Bird is specially designed to mimic the sounds of birds in distress. These sounds are very effective and you can lure predators like jackals very successfully, foxes and others.
Instructions for use: To imitate a bird in distress the size of a woodpecker, blow the air at short and intense intervals while simultaneously making the sound trrr, trrr, trrr in the whistle.
To imitate sounds of small birds in distress, you need to do the following combination: inflate carefully (here the sound trrrrrr is not inserted into the whistle) and then breathe back through the whistle and blow forward again. You can alternate different combinations of reps. The sound is imitated extremely easily and without any effort.
If you blow with even and short intervals of air you will get a very realistic sound of a rabbit in distress. Mimic in the sounds for 20-30 seconds,at intervals of 1-2 minutes. Repeat 15-30 minutes for each position.
With this whistle you will have the most success, if you use it in late spring and summer.
During these times of the year, birds are moulting or have young in the nests and are easy prey for predators. The probability of a predator finding a nest with young or a brooding bird is much greater, of as many little bunnies or a rabbit in distress.
IMPORTANT! Feed the sound from the diaphragm, not from the cheeks.
For more successful hunting, use a flickering lure,that imitates an agonizing rabbit. She will help you, by drawing the lured predator's attention away from you. Put the bait off at a distance 30-40 meters from the chosen position and slightly sideways. Generally, expect predators to approach you in an upwind direction.
