Responds quickly and safely
Don't forget! The goal is to surprise the attacker. Only remove the spray when you are ready to use it! Don't give the attacker time to think or react!
Hold the hand, in which you do not have the spray, in the form of STOP to the attacker and shout “STOP!“, as you spray towards him. This will distract the attacker from the other hand, in which you have the spray. This maneuver gives you time with the other hand to aim and spray the attacker.
While spraying against the attacker, take a slight step back, but don't turn your back on him! This will give you more time, will create more distance between you and the attacker and draw the attacker into the sprayed gas.
Don't close your eyes, when you spray! You have to be careful where you spray. If you didn't aim straight, adjust the aim and keep spraying.
When you spray the self defense spray at the attacker, DO NOT wave your hand up and down, this will only use up the ineffective spray. Head on over, spray, watch where you spray and adjust the direction, if necessary.
Aim for the attacker's face and shoulders. Spraying for 2-3 seconds is usually enough. After such a spray, the attacker will stop for several minutes, while trying to collect himself after the onset of pain and coughing. After doing this, no more spray and run ("Running is shameful, but it is healthy!“).
practicing
Spraying a target with an irritating spray of tear gas is like any other sporting activity. It takes practice, to achieve perfection.
Don't wait for something bad to happen, until you use the self defense spray for the first time. Buy one now, two or more self-defense sprays, to train, until you become a good user, when attacked.
What you need to know about hot spray
Unfortunately, there are countless situations, in which we must take care of ourselves, in a situation, in which, even though we are focused calmly on our thoughts and our path, we find ourselves attacked out of the blue or by certain villains, or from dogs, which, at least in our case he walked freely in all the streets.
It is good to be constantly prepared for such a situation and one of the effective ones, long lasting, legal and very cheap methods is hot spray. It can be used by any of us, and if you are a woman, you need it even more.
What is hot spray?
Used as a self-defense weapon, hot spray is a chemical compound, which irritates the eye, causing pain and temporary blindness. Once released, the jet instantly causes blindness, forcing the eyes to close, makes breathing difficult, cough and runny nose. The effect is instant (3-5 seconds) and may continue from 15 to 60 minutes depending on the amount injected.
When to use hot spray?
The hot spray is effective on humans as well, as well as for animals.
Never use the spray, to attack someone, but only to protect yourself!
How to effectively use such a spray?
Hot spray is not prohibited by law and no permit is required, to carry it with you. As it does not cause the attacker to die, can be used immediately. Acting quickly can avoid serious injury and save lives, so it should be easily accessible.
Effective use of a hot spray isn't just about pointing and spraying. Do not spray directly in front of the attacker, because he can react quickly and prevent you from spraying. Surprise him! Create a diversion! The goal is to distract him, before reacting. Stand in front of it, reach out to him, in which you are not holding the spray and shout as loud as you can “Wait!“. This will draw his attention to your free hand, and with the other you will be able to spray the spray.
Careful! Don't aim and spray only at the right time. Wait, while the attacker is in front of you and you are safe, that the jet will hit him from the front, immobilizing him. Do not close your eyes when spraying! Maintain contact with the target. Keep your distance, aim for the attacker's eyes, spray several short jets (1-2 seconds) and walk away. It is ideal to spray in “X” or “Z”, because you can't count, that the attacker will remain stationary.
When buying paralyzing spray, think in advance where you will keep it. Be careful to always wear it in the same place, so that you don't end up in an attack situation and think “where did i put it today?”. Find a comfortable place, at hand and from where you can remove it very quickly. Examine the pipe, nozzle and distributor and test them carefully outdoors, making sure, that the wind is blowing behind. Do not spray against the wind! It can get into your eyes. If this does happen, don't panic! You only need water, soap, weather and exposure to fresh air, to decontaminate yourself. Remove contaminated clothing and wash affected skin with cold water and soap. Hot water can increase burns and inflammation. Avoid touching the area, do not use the cream and under no circumstances rub! If irritation persists after decontamination procedures, go see a doctor.
Where to store hot spray?
Hot spray is a flammable product, so do not leave it in the sun or near heat sources. Store at room temperature and keep out of reach of children. Do not leave it in the car in the summer, because high temperatures can melt the seals.
The warranty period must be respected, written on the pipe. After the expiration date, it must be replaced with a new spray. It is possible that after a longer period of time the spray no longer sprays at the expected distance, so it's good to do a little test after 90 days.
