The SPOT HAWK prismatic sight is made of high-quality aluminum alloy and has 10 lighting levels, including very bright and dim, making it suitable for night vision devices.
Basically, the prismatic sight is a closed-type speedometer /collimator sight with a wide field of view and a bright, contrast image. As a rule, they have a fixed fixed increase, standard 2.5x, 3p, 4p, 5x and engraved ballistic scale for certain calibers, which makes it possible to use it as a rangefinder. The reticle marks on prismatic scopes are roughly the same size and type as those used on rapid-fire scopes. This type of sight does not need the constant use of batteries to illuminate the target scale of the sight, as well as the use of additional magnifying attachments (Magnifier). Prismatic sights have all the advantages of collimator sights, like no parallax, fast aiming and target tracking. These scopes are aimed at the carbine shooter market and offer an intermediate option between Low Variable Zoom /LPVO scopes – Low Powered Variable Optic/ and speedometers.
Can be combined with the NiteHog Viper 35mm thermal attachment or with the Spot Hog speedometer.
