We are publishing a customer review of the shoes, who recently purchased the TrekSta Lynx model and was kind enough to share it with us/you.
Tracks. I admit, that I had not heard of this brand until two months ago, when a friend took me to show them to me in the store of Rosbul Arm in Druzhba. Medium high leather shoes with a GoreTex membrane, BOA lacing system and aggressive sole. This is not something entirely new, but still the shoes caught my attention with their asymmetric shape. Was it just an interesting design or did it serve a purpose?
When I put them on for the first time I have to admit, that I was surprised by the first impression. They just stuck to me. I thought, that it's just a happy coincidence. I started searching the web for information about this one (new to me) brand.
Компанията PullSta – a combination of the words Trekking Star – was founded by an ambitious Korean businessman in 1988 Mr. From the beginning, the idea was to create the lightest hiking shoes in the world, and this is not a modest goal.
I wore the shoes every day for a month and a half, through which I had 6 hunting days, two of them in highly hilly areas. My first impression hasn't changed. The shoes are very comfortable to wear and for the moment they satisfy my requirements of 100%. I've never had a problem, they didn't kill me and they didn't change their shape for the time, while wearing them.
To be honest, at the moment, when I unpacked them, I found the VOA system ugly and impractical, but I admit it, that proved to be more convenient than traditional connections. Especially for a pair of high heels, which take a long time to put on and take off. I would still carry spare regular shoes with me, on serious hunts far from civilization, as a broken link is much easier to replace, than a broken steel wire or system. Overall I find the VOA system excellent and after discovering how functional it is - it doesn't even seem so ugly anymore. TrekSta also have shoe options with traditional laces.
Did my legs get less tired than usual? Perhaps. They certainly didn't get tired anymore. A longer test period is needed for a more accurate answer. It is also not possible to give information about the wear of the shoes, if they have not been tested for at least two seasons. But my gut tells me, that apart from ergonomic, these shoes will be quite durable. If this turns out to be true - TrekSta definitely has a bright future for the Bulgarian market, as shoes are one of the important items of equipment for serious hunting.
Greetings and good luck,
I. H.

During these years I used the shoes of TrekSta model Lynx BOA GTX for hunting, tourist trips and sometimes for work. I'm not a constant hound, but there's rarely a hunt where I don't do at least one race. They are still functional! At first I sprayed them with an impregnating spray Pluvonin to Ballistol, and the last year, I haven't been around for a year or so. They don't miss, they are healthy, only the gripper of the Vibram sole has worn off, which is normal for after 4-5 years of active wear. I haven't changed anything. It seems important to me to mention, that I am not one of the light ones 🙂 I am at the moment 102 kiltsa. I would probably use them this season as well, but others fell to me, brand new at half price and now the Lynx are on hiatus. I hope this review is useful for someone. A coincidence!
Сега си ги купих и аз. Да видим как ще минат теста.
