Norma 7.62x54R, Down 180 gr is a hunting cartridge of the Swedish manufacturer Norma.

This is the classic one, earliest model heavy hunting semi-dressed bullet, produced by the prestigious Swedish company "Norma".

The design of the bullet approaches the classic one: a massive shell at the base and thinner at the top. In the middle part
there is an annular groove on the body of the bullet, which is deeply pressed into the body of the lead core and divides it in diameter into a front (subject to impact deformation) and back.

Those ammunition are particularly suitable for hunting at medium distances.
