The PARD Model NV007 Digital Night Vision Headpiece is a device, with which you can convert daytime optics into night optics. It's her weight 352 grams with inserted battery and connector, which in no way weighs on the weapon. Installing the device is quick and easy, by placing it in front of the eyepiece of the day scope. The connection between the two components is made by an adapter ring / dowry, which has a diameter of 45 mm. It is possible to replace it with 42 mm or s 48 mm, depending on the diameter of the eyepiece of the daytime optical instrument. The entire construction of the nozzle is made of high-quality materials. Aluminum alloy is used, which is also completely waterproof. That's what it means, that the device can be used at any time of the year, without worrying about weather conditions. Also the recoil endurance reaches up to 4000 Jaula, as this includes weapons with a recoil rating of up to .308 caliber.
Two operating modes are available. The first is daytime, as here the picture is in color. The second is nocturnal, with the shots being in the black and white range. This makes the nozzle universal, because there will be no need to take it down. Monitoring is done on a Sony OLED screen. The matrix is of high quality, which in turn provides a clean picture with clearly defined contours of objects, less energy during use, which positively affects battery life.
The digital nozzle is with 3 IR light levels, function “Filming” and sharing via Wi-Fi.
The infrared light depending on the specific situation can be adjusted. Three brightness levels are available. These are weak, medium and strong. The choice for the level directly depends on the available light during use. If a weak backlight is required, it is recommended to use the lowest level, thus significantly increasing battery life on a single charge. The infrared light used is from 850 nm and 5W power. The maximum distance, which can illuminate in total darkness is from 150-200 meters. In addition, a laser dot is available for more accurate target marking. For this reason, the night vision device is suitable for wildlife observation and hunting at close and medium distances.
Optical magnification is 4x, with the possibility of a digital one of 3.5x times. The minimum focal length is from 3 cm to infinity. Fine tuning of image sharpness is done by a focus wheel, which is centrally located at the bottom, so you don't have to look away. Dioptric adjustment is also provided.
The device also offers the possibility of recording the observed picture and actions. Videos or photos can be created, depending on personal preference. The video resolution is 1920x1080, as in the photos it is 2608x1944. All newly created files are saved on a pre-inserted memory card. Its capacity can be up to 128GB. The records can then be viewed in two ways. The first is from the card itself. In this method, the SD card is inserted into a reader or by connecting the adapter to a computer via a USB cable, which is included in the kit. The second option is via a Wi-Fi connection, which requires downloading a free mobile app and pairing your smartphone with the device. Power is provided by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery type 18650. Its endurance in economical mode and continuous operation reaches 8 o'clock. It should then be reloaded.
